Chatra District

Vistaar Project supported by USAID and CINI providing Technical Assistance to Govt. of Jharkhand on delaying age of marriage and adolescent anemia control through improving IPC and counseling skills of teachers and Aanganwadi workers on addressing the issue of marriage and adolescent anemia. Single Window Center (2016-17) – In the year 2016-17 in Deoghar district total Farmers enrolled in the following blocks were :- Madhupur – 1253, Sonaraitadhi – 1103, Devipur – 628, Mohanpur – 368, Palojori – 5253 and Sarath - 4092.

509 Sahiyas were trained in 7 blocks of Garhwa district.

Gumla District

Socio culture and community mobilization Social Cultural awareness committees are formed at grassroot level named:- · Uttari Koyal Sewa Samiti (Banari) · Sugga Tangra Vikas Samiti (Sato) · Jatra Bhagat Samarah Samiti formed in 1984. Kisan Mela and exhibition of the agricultural equipment were organized at Sato on Makar Sankranti (14 farmers). · Temple of Lord Shiva was constructed and Celebrations of festivals. · Vikas Mela and exhibition :- In 1984 3 days Vikas Mela (Oct 1 – 3) at village Chingri on occasion of Gandhi Jayanti has started. For last 33 years for community mobilization activities and Capacity Building of Youths with support of community is organized every year to provide platforms to each group to explore their potentials as Football tournament, Marathon, Cycle Race, Kisan Mela, People's Science exhibition, Cattle show, Healthy Baby show, Handicraft etc.

v Village industry and agriculture development :- · In 1985-86 Lab to land programme by ICAR for Technical support to farmers. 250 families were benefitted. 400 farmers were trained on horticulture, forestry etc. · Karigar Panchayat was started in 1985 for Capacity Building of Traditional Artisans. · In 1984 initially 15 Biogas Plants were constructed and two Masons were trained. At the end of the year 450 Biogas were established and in Chingri 25 Cubic meter Community Biogasifier was constructed (The technical and financial support was by AFPRO). In the year 1986, Capacity Building in Biogas to 132 beneficiaries was done. · In the year 1985 100 youths were trained in various village industries mainly agricultural implements Carpentry, Bee keeping, 6-spindle spinning, Soap making, Leaf Plate and Cup making, Food processing and Entrepreneurship development. · "CART" supported to manufacture improved tool by giving training to local Lohra Artisans and gang men. · In the year 1986, Capacity Building in Agriculture to 800 beneficiaries was done. · Gram Udyog Vikas Kendra and Agriculture Equipment Vikas Kendra was established. · In the year 1986, Capacity Building in Horticulture to 65 beneficiaries was done. · In the year 1986, Capacity Building in Bee keeping to 40 families was done. · Food Processing Unit (FPO License) – 71 women were trained. · Single Window Center (2016-17) – In the year 2016-17 in Gumla district total Farmers enrolled in the following blocks were – Sisai – 1172, Bharno – 355, Palkot – 1218, Raidih – 903, Bishunpur – 7534, Ghaghra – 301, Basia - 625. v Protection of Environment – Social Forestry :- Plantation (1983 - 84) – 10 lakhs plants were planted and 32 Nursery were developed with the help of forest department (Bihar), Science and Technology department (Govt. of India), Waste land development Bear (Delhi) land conservation department (Govt. of Bihar) For protection of Jal, Jangal, Jameen and Environment Dharti Raksha Vahini was established. · Plantation on Rath Parva was started in 1982 and till date it is going on to promote plantation and conservation. v Empowerment of local governance – · To empower people on Right based issues Teen Simani Sarkar was established by the community to solve local issues at village level in 1986 and it also advocated for election for Panchayati Raj system and till date with Government of Jharkhand it is giving providing training to elected members throughout the state and strengthening Gram Sabhas. v Women and Child Education :- · In 1984 Non Formal Education for Youths, Adolescents and Women 9 centres were established. Pragya Poshan was established as a centre for complementary Education to Youths. Women Science Centre was also established. · In 1998-99 Innovative concept Harwaha Charwaha Vidyalaya for dropout and never enrolled children was established. · Lok Shiksha Karyakram. · Library Development and Ad Chhotanagpur Seva Sansthan. · For proper development of Children and community various activities / events / day celebrations were in regular practice. · Science Education and Extension Centre established (140 Youths were trained). · In 1985 Formal Schools were established to provide quality education to deprived section of the society in Hard to reach area are Jatra Tana Bhagat Vidya Mandir, Koileshwar Nath Vidya Mandir (Banari), Veer Budhu Vidya Mandir (), Sarna Vidya Mandir (Chilam-Pokhar), Keshav Shishu Vatika (Shram Niketan) were started. · but at present, the Formal Schools are as follows :- 1. Koyleshwar Nath Vidya Mandir, 2. Jatra Tana Bhagat Vidya Mandir, 1984 3. Gyan Niketan – To provide quality education to PVTG at conducive environment named Shram Niketan in 1985. 4. Vikas Children Academy in 2016 · A Residential Vocational Training Centre was established for Physically challenged Children named Jatra Tana Viklang Learning Centre at Chingri which is now known as Shaktiman Ashram. · Residential Centres (Ashrams) were established to support children in continuing their Formal Education. · Bridge Course in Gumla (2005-06) (55 Residential Centres, 777 Non- Residential Centres) with support of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan were conducted through 22050 children were benefitted. · NPEGEL (National Programme of Elementary Education for Girls at Primary Level) :- Interventions were done for School going and out of School Girls in whole Gumla district in 2005-06 is now named as Gyan Niketan. · Value Education training (2005-06) to Teachers. · Adult Education Training. v Health and Sanitation : · Jeevan Jyoti Arogya Niketan (1986) - A dispensary was established to provide Maternal, Neo-Natal Care and Normal Health Checkup for the Tribal people of Gumla, Lohardaga and Latehar district. · In 2005-06 Sahiya selection and training was done in 11 blocks of Gumla district, 1793 Sahiya were selected and trained. · Anemia control programme (2005-06) : ........................................................ · Mother NGO (2007-08) · Health Education and Awareness (Prevention on Malaria and Diarrhea). 18 Youths were trained. Promotion of Herbal medicinal plant and processing. · Catch-up Round (2005-06) in 5 blocks of Gumla district - ........................... · Total Sanitation Campaign (2005-06) with the support of UNICEF : For awareness and construction of Low Cost Latrine. Bishunpur- 122, Ghaghra-53, Kamdara – 66. · Dhanwantari Mobile Medical Health Clinic Programme : An innovative project started with support of MLA Fund to generate employment through providing Health training and Medical Kits to the rural youths and services at the door step to deprived section of the society. · In 5 blocks with the support of NABARD (2005-06) Kisan clubs were formed. · Sampoorna Swachhta Abhiyan with support of CAPART- The Toilet constructed – Bishunpur – 747, Kamdara – 711, Ghaghra – 492. · In 1985, 80 Bio Gas Plants were established. · Rural Young Professionals training, a LEAD NGO supported by CAPART in 2007-08. · Mela Udyan Vikas Kendra (IDRF). · National Horticulture Mission – In 2 blocks of Gumla district, 2007-08 total area acre was covered 136.23. · Swa-Shakti Pariyojana · Gram Takniki Kendra. · Nadi Poojan · ITDA · Karuna · Seed village · Herbal medicine · Bora Bandh · KVK · Lead NGO programme supported by CAPART (2007-08) - Bishunpur, Palkot. · In 2007-08 under S.G.S.Y 102 unemployed youths were being trained under this scheme of CAPART in Food Processing, Motor binding, Mushroom, Vegetable's Production & Marketing, Dairy, Herbal Plantation and Repair of Motar bikes with pump sets. · Hand pump repairing – The organization capacitate Rural Youths through providing Hand pump repairing training every year. · Mahila Udyan Vikas Kendra - With support of IDRF (Integrated Development Relief Fund) Mahila Udyan Vikas Kendra was established for giving training to women on vegetable production, Vermi compost, Nursery establishment, Kitchen Garden etc. Women from Self Help Groups are getting benefit of it. · National Horticulture Mission – In 2 blocks of Gumla district, 2007-08 total area acre was covered 136.23. · An attempt to develop Nutrition Security Module in 2010-11 – Implementation of Block Operational Plan in Gumla, Sadar. · Work on Family planning (Sambhav Voucher scheme) – 2010-11 – To reduce unwanted Fertility and improve reproductive Health outcome by effective communication and promotion of Voucher system for the disadvantaged group in 2 blocks of Gumla.

Hazaribagh District

Single Window Center (2016-17) – In the year 2016-17 in Hazaribagh district total Farmers enrolled in Barhi block were 450.

Koderma District

Vistaar Project supported by USAID providing Technical Assistance to Govt. of Jharkhand for improving the status of Maternal and Child Nutrition, New Born Care through system strengthening, capacity building of Frontline workers, developing IEC materials and communication skills.
Single Window Center (2016-17) – In the year 2016-17 in Koderma district total Farmers enrolled in the following blocks were :- Koderma – 460 and Chandwara – 7634.

Lohardaga District

In 2005-06, 5 residential and 61 Non residential centres for drop out and never enrolled children were established to mainstream line in the formal education. 1781 children were benefitted. 2. In 1985, 80 Bio Gas Plants were established. 3. Education Awareness Programme throughout the year. 4. Health Education. 5. In 2 blocks with the support of NABARD (2005-06) Kisan clubs were formed. 6. Lead NGO programme supported by CAPART (2007-08) - Senha. 7. Hand pump repairing – The organization capacitate Rural Youths through providing Hand pump repairing training every year. 8. National Horticulture Mission – In 5 blocks of Lohardaga district, 2005-06 to 2007-08 total area acre was covered 3563.14 9. Single Window Center (2016-17) – In the year 2016-17 in Lohardaga district total Farmers enrolled in the following blocks were :- Bhandra – 29, Kuru – 10.

Pakur District

Mobile Panchayat Health worker (2005-06) : 2. Single Window Center (2016-17) – In the year 2016-17 in Pakur district total Farmers enrolled in the following blocks were :- Maheshpur – 682, Littipara – 3534.

Palamu District

In 2005-06, 1153 Sahiyas were trained in 6 blocks of Palamu district. 2. Single Window Center (2016-17) – In the year 2016-17 in Palamu district total Farmers enrolled in Chainpur block were 727.

Pashchimi Singhbhum District

590 Sahiyas were trained in 5 blocks of the district. 2. In 2005-06 People awareness programme for Total Sanitation Campaign in 7 Panchayat of Jagannathpur. 3. In 5 blocks with the support of NABARD (2005-06) Kisan clubs were formed. 4. National Horticulture Mission – In 2 blocks of West Singhbhum district, 2007-08 total area acre was covered 187.52. 5. Single Window Center (2016-17) – In the year 2016-17 in W. Singhbhum district total Farmers enrolled in the following blocks were :- Chaibasa – 285, Chakradharpur – 3349 and Hatgamharia – 3563.

Purbi Singhbhum District

679 Sahiyas were trained in 2 blocks of the district. 2. In 5 blocks with the support of NABARD (2005-06) Kisan clubs were formed. 3. Single Window Center (2016-17) – In the year 2016-17 in E. Singhbhum district total Farmers enrolled in Behragora block were 635. 4. MESO Hospital started in 2009.

Ranchi District

1. For Urban, Slum drop out children innovative project with support of CINI and GOAL, 14 Non-residential centres were established which benefitted 280 children of the area.

2. IICCHAA : A programme for the people with HIV aids started in March, 2006. It helped to create an enabling environment for people living with HIV/aids by community.

3. 70 Sahiyas were selected and trained in 1 block of Ranchi district.

4. Jan Shikshan Sansthan started in 2003 and continuing till date.

5. A State Resource Center established under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in 2004 to give to provide Technical support to the Government NGOs and persons working in the Field of Education.
6. To provide Technical support in training, pedagogy, Research and Community mobilization to the Govt. of Jharkhand.

7. Hand pump repairing – The organization capacitate Rural Youths through providing Hand pump repairing training every year.

8. Single Window Center (2016-17) – In the year 2016-17 in Ranchi district total Farmers enrolled in the following blocks were :- Ormanjhi – 559, Ratu – 259.

Sahibganj District

1. 783 Sahiyas were trained in 5 blocks of Sahebganj district.
